The Integrated Journalism in Europe (IJIE) project is a joint interdisciplinary effort of a consortium of five partners:
- Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain). Journalism Research Group (GRP) and Interactive Technologies Group (GTI).
- Linnaeus University (Kalmar and Växjö, Sweden)
- Université Paris 8 (Paris-Vincennes, France). Centre d’études sur les médias les technologies et l’internationalisation (CEMTI).
- Danish School of Media and Journalism (Copenhagen and Aarhus, Denmark). Department of Journalism and Communication.
- Babes-Bolyai University (Cluj-Napoca, Romania). Journalism Department.
Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), as the coordinating institution, undertakes the overall management of the project covering administrative issues, monitoring the global progress of the project and the coordination of the partners’ activities. The leaders for the work packages of the project are the following: European Journalism database (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), Conceptual Framework (Université Paris 8), Off-line pedagogical (Danish School of Media and Journalism), Online platform (Babes-Bolyai University and Universitat Pompeu Fabra), Pilot week (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), Quality Check (Linnaeus University), Dissemination and Exploitation (all partners).
